Maui Fire Relief Fund

2023 Maui Relief Fund

Progress: So far with the generosity of the community we have raised over $2,500.00!

We are still taking donations to help subsidize veterinary care for animals in need from the devastating fires.

Any donations make a huge difference!

A Note from Dr. Demian Dressler:

Thank you so much for arranging this Fern. These people need it for real and the money flowing is not being distributed. No infrastructure of this kind in place.”

Help subsidize veterinary care for animals in need from the devastating fires.

Where your money will go: Donations will go to Dr. Demian Dressler from South Shore Veterinary Care, Kihei, HI. This fund will help clients of South Shore Veterinary Care that are unable to afford veterinary care because of the catastrophic losses in the Lahaina Fire.

**The fund will be available to all pets in need and not limited to birds.**

A little about Dr. Demian Dressler: Dr. Dressler did an externship at For The birds here and provided care for the birds at the Maui Animal Rescue and Sanctuary (now defunct). Dr. Dressler is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Avian Veterinarians, the National Animal Supplement Council and CORE (Comparative Orthopedic Research Evaluation). He is also an advisory board member for Pacific Primate Sanctuary.
